Finally, a parenting book that parents can actually read and understand. Parental love is the key and is instinctively felt by the child. If you respect and love the child, he or she will respect and love him or herself. The child will feel “good” about him/herself. Respect plus love equal good. Every parent should be given this book regardless of the age of their child. Gary has written a book that will not gather dust on my book shelf along with the other parenting books. I have acquired over the years. Anyone who works with children would benefit from Gary’s insightful book about adult/child relationships, and learn behaviors that have both children and adults feeling love, respected and good.
